About NEC

The National Executive Committee (NEC) is the overall governing arm of the Idumuje-Ugboko Development Union (IUDU) world wide. It was primarily established to unite the people of Idumuje-Ugboko, and to facilitate the rapid and sustained development of the community into a vibrant, peaceful, prosperous and stable entity. There are approximately 19 registered and functional branches. The National Executive Committee is headquartered in Nigeria.

Aims and Objectives

•  Formulate strategies and policies geared towards the transformation and rapid development of Idumuje-Ugboko and her people.
•  Identify, plan and execute socio-economic projects in line with the union’s set rules and regulations
•  In consonance with all the other branches, the NEC helps to flap up any concerns that inhibit or threaten the peaceful coexistence of the people of Idumuje-Ugboko and work towards mitigating these problems
•  Proffer ideas that foster peace, unity, fairness and the security of the lives and properties in the community.
•  Liaise with different levels of government, corporate entities, individuals and the other IUDU branches in order to develop economic policies that support socio-political advancement within the community
